Jonathan is a consultant oculoplastic surgeon on the specialist register in the UK and Sweden and co-director of FaceRestoration Ltd, London & Cambridge UK with Dr Rachna Murthy. He is a full member of the American, European & British Society of Oculoplastic & Reconstructive Surgeons.
After embarking on the Cambridge MB/PhD programme at Gonville & Caius College he was invited to be a visiting research fellow at Harvard Medical School. On returning to the UK he was a National Institute for Health Research Academic Clinical Fellow and later Cambridge Programme Chief Resident in Ophthalmology. Jonathan has taught over 300 Cambridge undergraduate students and was a supervisor
for Trinity College, Cambridge.
His research has won multiple awards and he now co-heads a national UK observational study and contributes as a visiting surgeon to a charitable relief effort in Western Uganda.
